Over his career, Michael has honed his skills in multiple roles as a senior sales and marketing leader who can identify and capitalize on market opportunities to drive revenue. He has demonstrated vital leadership capabilities through the successful launch of 9 products in heavily competitive markets in various therapeutic areas (including 3 in cardiovascular markets).

Michael began his career with a Merck startup company (AstraMerck) for the launch of Prilosec holding positions in field sales, sales analytics, operations, marketing and sales management. Michael also held cardiovascular management positions with Biovail and Schwarz Pharma where he developed teams from the bottom to the top of their respective sales forces. In recent years, while at Ferring USA, he was responsible for sales, brand P&L, VA/DOD accounts, managed care, and Integrated Health Systems/IDNs, within the buy-and-bill and specialty prescription markets.

Michael intimately understands the core dynamics for marketing newly emerging products, especially the critical role of brand awareness, brand retention and product positioning in highly competitive markets. At Ferring, he was a key leader in a start-up organization and drove strategic planning to rapidly launch their Class III medical device (EUFLEXXA), aligning regions & territories and coordinating vital support (training, market tools and incentive compensation plans). To promote sales force effectiveness, he established an integrated CRM system, supporting performance metrics management to elevate focus on sales production and resource optimization.

Having spent his career delivering stakeholder value through people, he utilizes sound, strategic sales and marketing blue-prints to achieve success. This necessitates gaining buy-in and accountability from all team members for exceptional execution.
